Why an individual proxy?

There are lots of web proxy services on the Internet - so why do you want your own Individual Proxy site?

  • You receive your own personal proxy web site. You get two options, either a subdomain (such as http://example.individualproxy.com), or a Fully Qualified Domain Name, (such as http://www.exampleproxy.com). This makes it much less likely that your personal proxy site would get noticed by corporate and government web filters.
  • Your proxy web site is password protected. If you try either of our sample Individual Proxy web sites, you'll see that you are asked for a username and password. The username for our examples is "example" and the password is "ex123". Your personal proxy site will also be password protected, so no one else will have access to it, especially corporate and government network snoopers.
  • No advertisements. Most proxy web sites inundate you with advertisements, slowing down the service and interfering with web site viewing. Your Individual Proxy site has no advertisements, just a small toolbar at the top of the screen, showing you which web page address you are visiting.
  • Individual Proxy encrypts the website URL you are visiting. Lots of web proxy sites allow you to connect to filtered web sites, but the address you are visiting shows up in the "address bar" of your web browser, which means that corporate and government records and logs still show which web sites you are visiting. Individual Proxy's software encrypts the URL, so all the logs see is the address of your web proxy site, not the site you are visiting. To see how this works, view our example proxy site (above).
  • Your Individual Proxy subdomain looks like part of a legitimate web site. We don't disclose what the subdomian of your individual proxy site will be before the sale because we don't want our proxy servers to be banned. Needless to say, your subdomain (http://yoursubdomain.ourdomain.com) will be part of a domain that looks completely legitimate, making it harder for corporate and government snoops to figure out what your proxy site is.
  • SSL Encryption Available. You can sign up for SSL service, which ensures that all of your traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted.
