What is a web proxy?
Web proxy service is a tool for ensuring that your web browsing in anonymous and for potentially bypassing web site blocking services. When you browse the Internet without a proxy, your computer connects directly to the web site you are visiting to receive the web page. This allows the web site to know where you are coming from, as well as a host of other information, such as your cookies, IP address, and even web browser version.
